While making this magazine advert I had to research the size of certain parts of magazine pages and the generic size of the whole page, this is so I can create the actual right size of the magazine advert.
Today I have learnt how to use the tools I already knew about abit more accurately therefore making my understanding of Photoshop improve and my confidence in Photoshop increase also.
I think my final piece was kinda successful because it looks pretty decent but I could have improved by adding more information about the product, for example:
- where you can buy it.
- how you can you can contact the product creators.
- our website.
- company name.
- allergy information.
this magazine advert was created using tools such as:
- The Gradient tool.
- Posterize adjustment tool.
- Shape tools.
- Brush tool.
- Warp transformation tool.
- Inner glow.
- Outer glow.
- Content aware move tool.
- Clone stamp tool.
- The eraser.
- Type tool.
- Healing brush.
- Curves adjustment.
- Magic wand.
I have used some of these tools by:
- I have used the brush tool by using it take me the fade effects/lighting effects for example the one outside of the butter tub.
- I have used the Curves adjustment tool by using it over the top of my whole project to create a brighter and more vibrant image.
- I have used the shape to create the sun in the top left corner and the price banner.
- I used the content aware tool to fill in a area of the butter tub because I accidentally cut it out with the magic wand.
- I used the magic wand to remove the background of the butter tub.
- The other tools I have used have been a vital part of my magazine advert.
