Panasonic HDC 900 Camera (The camera we will be using)

I do not know much about this camera at the moment because I havent used it much, i know simple things such as where the SD card goes, how to turn it on, how to connect and reconnect the battery, where the photo shutter button is and a couple more things. I am currently still learning how to use this camera and all of its functions.

White Balance:
White balance is used to make the colours in the video look how they actually look in real life, it is a good idea to correct white balance every time you more area or every time you move scene, this ensures the colours on the video will be correct to how it actually looks.

Rule of thirds:
The rule of thirds is what helps beginner and professional film makers and photographers. this rule is simple but effective, this rule divides the image into thirds making it easier to judge where your subject should go, for example you shouldn't put the main subject in the center of the shot you should put it on one of the points on the rule of thirds. the rules of thirds grid is shown below.
Notice how the main attraction in the image is not located in the center and more to the right and the land is lower than the middle, this makes the picture showcase more of one thing for example this image is mainly based on the clear sky and the lighthouse other than the land around the lighthouse.
